Leona Love is a Black Queer artist from Louisville, Kentucky. Predominantly focusing on mixed media sculpture, and freelance retailing. For ten years Leona has been a primarily self taught artist. Though earning a BFA, was vital to their journey in the craft.

Along with being a creator, they are passionate about community involvement. Presently, they are a Visual Arts Specialist, at a local non-profit. This position is great nourishment for the long term goal of directing a community environment catered to the arts.

​At this time they are diving into the world of curation. With their first installation a success, Leona has their sights set on what’s next.
